Frequently Asked Questions

AWSB: Cultivated Mental Health, LLC, provider number: 2001, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 2024-2025. 

NBCC: Cultivated Mental Health, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education provider, ACEP No. 7351. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Cultivated Mental Health, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the program. 

GSCSW: Cultivated Mental Health, LLC is approved to offer continuing education by the Georgia Society for Clinical Social Work (GSCSW). Approval numbers for specific courses will be provided on class information materials and certificates of completion. 

While most states recognize CE credits from organizations like GSCSW and NBCC, and ASWB/ACE we advise you to review your state's specific rules for CE credit acceptance. For compliance, keep records of course descriptions and objectives, along with your completion certificate. We recommend verifying with your state board or professional organization for precise filing requirements for the CE credits acquired through our courses.

PAYMENT, CANCELATION, & REFUND POLICY

Continuing Education events are to be paid for in full at the time of registration. 

Refunds can be made under the following guidelines:

• 100% Refund with 14-day notice is provided to Cultivated Mental Health, LLC at hello@cultivatedmh.com with a subject line of “Refund Request” and a notation of the name and date of the event.  
  
• 50% Refund with 7-day notice is provided to Cultivated Mental Health, LLC at hello@cultivatedmh.com with a subject line of “Refund Request” and a notation of the name and date of the event. 
  
• No Refund is available for cancellations within 6-days of the scheduled event as the fees are needed for all administrative overhead. 
  
• If an event is canceled by Cultivated Mental Health, LLC, your registration fee will be reimbursed in full. 

In accordance with the guidelines established by the Georgia Composite Board, it is imperative that attendees of our training workshops be present for the entire duration of the presentation to be eligible for continuing education credit. In order to remain in compliance with these guidelines and uphold our ability to provide CEs, we regret to inform you that we cannot issue certificates to participants who arrive more than 15 minutes late or depart 15 minutes before the conclusion of the course.

Please note that our policy, which is prominently displayed on our website, stipulates that we cannot provide refunds for any reason. Furthermore, your presence is essential to our preparation for the presentation, and as such, we cannot make any exceptions to this policy.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you may join the presentation at the first break, but no certificates will be issued for the time missed. Similarly, leaving the session early will result in no credit being granted for attendance.

Certificates are provided after the student has met all requirements. 

At Cultivated Mental Health, our commitment to excellence extends beyond our course offerings to include compliance with all relevant regulations. This is why we have established specific criteria for our certification process. Participants must attend the full duration of the class, and any arrivals that are more than 15 minutes late will not be eligible for a certificate. Additionally, completing the post-class evaluation is a crucial step, not just for feedback but for ensuring that we meet all the regulatory requirements. Only by fulfilling both these conditions can we issue a certificate.

You should ALWAYS receive an email confirmation of purchase with your class details included.

As well as a follow up email and text (if phone number provided) the day before class with the class details also included.

If you do not see any emails from us, please follow these steps:

1. Check your Spam or Junk Email Folder: Sometimes emails from new contacts or businesses get filtered into the spam or junk folder. If you find our email there, be sure to mark it as "Not Spam" to receive future communications directly in your inbox.
2. Add Our Email Address to Your Contacts: To ensure our emails reach your inbox, add hello@cultivatedmh.com and kathy@cultivatedmh.com to your address book or contact list.
3. Email Filters and Rules: If you have set up filters or rules in your email, make sure they are not redirecting our emails to another folder like Archives or Trash.
4. Promotions Tab (For Gmail Users): If you are using Gmail, check the 'Promotions' tab, as our emails might be categorized there.
5. Full Inbox: If your inbox is full, you might not receive new emails. Please make sure you have enough space to receive new messages.
6. Search Your Email: Sometimes emails can be overlooked. Try searching for keywords related to our workshop/event in your email's search bar.

Our commitment to resolving grievances includes the involvement of our advisory committee and the social work consultant, ensuring impartiality and objectivity throughout the process. We understand the importance of timely response, and someone from our team will acknowledge your grievance within 24 business hours. If immediate resolution is not possible, we will thoroughly investigate the matter and provide a comprehensive response within a reasonable timeframe.

No, we have evolved, like many other fine things out there in the world.  Initially, the work we did was connected with Kathy's clinical practice.  As this grew, the need to differentiate spaces also grew, so a d/b/a was created: DownStreamFirst LLC d/b/a DSF Educational Pursuits.  

In August of 2023, Cultivated Mental Health LLC was created as a separate entity to focus support, needs, growth, and specialization traits to our mission space.  We are honored to continue to serve you here! Thank you for this opportunity.
